Basketball Academy
An Outdoor Academy at Desert Mountain Part in Queen Creek.
Training will take place on Tuesday's from 6:00- 7:00 PM for Girls ages 10-13 ongoing starting Jan 8th, 2019.
Training will take place on Thursday's from 6:00- 7:00 PM for Boys ages 10-13 ongoing starting Jan 8th, 2019.
Basketball Academy is designed for Beginner's that are committed to improving skills to play at a higher level. Our goal is to help kids to be able to prepare to play for their school teams or club ball. It is expected that youth will continue to practice throughout the week with ongoing homework assignments and weekly motivational support by the Coach. This Academy is looking for youth that will be committed for 6 months to build lasting improvement to their game.
*Youth will gain an understanding of how to play the game and rules of basketball
*Personalized instruction to help improve weaknesses and build strengths
*Basketball Speed and Conditioning
*Youth receive personal instruction of various basketball fundamentals which include dribbling, shooting, offensive skills, defensive skills, and footwork.
Youth Fitness and Intro to Sports Class
· Focuses on teaching the core fundamentals of balance and coordination while developing gross motor skills
· Fun activities are used to reinforce individual development
· Group games are used to teach sportsmanship and cooperation
· Basic instruction and introduction of sport skills
Classes are held once a week for 6 weeks for 45 minute sessions. Classes are held at various park or indoor locations in the East Valley. Check our schedule for upcoming classes. If you have a group or HOA that would like to start a private class, please contact us!
Personal Coaching
FREE 30 min consultation with Parent and Youth to evaluate fitness goals. Personal Coaching will assist youth in maintaining fitness goals to help increase self-esteem, weight loss, and active lifestyle. We will come to your home, park location, indoor location or community greenbelt. Sessions are 45min and coordinate around your schedule.
